Web-Based Survey of Self-Determination among People with Mental and Emotional Difficulties

This protocol was developed to measure self-determination among people with psychiatric disabilities and their use of information technology. Using a participatory action research approach, Center staff worked with a group of consumer researchers and advocates to review existing survey instruments, create new questionnaire items, design the survey methodology, analyze data, and prepare articles summarizing the results. The survey instrument and 2 research articles are available.
